Phoebe's Ladybug Bedroom

In the Spring of 2010, Tony used the remaining area of his family's basement to build Phoebe her own bedroom. The theme of the bedroom was Phoebe's favorite insect, the "Ladybug" As part of the decor, he restored an early 1900's oak washstand that Doug found sitting outside for trash pick-up on a curb in Scranton, Pa.  In the winter of 2013, Tony built a bookcase from parts of an old Eastlake dresser mirror he found in an old barn. Also, included in the room is the antique oak rocking chair Tony gave Christine for Christmas before their first child Hunter was born in 2004.
