REVOLVING GLASS DOOR
INTERIOR WOOD ON SMALL DRAWERS & STEPPING SECTION IS CHERRY.
THE BACK SECTION BEHIND REVOLVING DOOR IS ACTUALLY CURVED TO FOLLOW THE CURVE OF THE DOOR.
THE DOOR COVERING THE SMALL DRAWERS OPENS AND SLIDES UP INTO THE CABINET AT AN APPROX. 45° ANGLE. THE DOOR ON THE TOP RIGHT SLIDES STRAIGHT UP
This is one of the rarest & most desirable Ransom & Randolph Co. dental cabinets.
According to research we have done with the US Patent Office, this cabinet dates from the late 1800's. The original patent for design of the cabinet was applied for in 1897 and was eventually issued in 1899.
