Victorian Oak Cheval Mirror

Dimensions:

32″ wide x 28″ deep at base  x 76 1/2″ tall

actual mirror frame is 56 1/2″ x 26 1/2″ 

circa 1892

original old newspapers dating from March 16, 1892 were used as shims to hold mirror against mirror back. Newspapers were put back in after refinishing the mirror frame.

original brass mirror swivels

mirror is beveled and is very thick (5/16″ thick)  (mirror has a couple of small flaws in the mirror silvering)

refinished with a very smooth finish
