All quarter sawed oak
Circa 1890’s
The bench was custom made for a family that raised
peacocks in Cincinnati, Ohio. The piece was made in Philadelphia.
Carved peacock in back along with carved chufa
seeds that were fed to the peacocks.
This is probably the best hall
bench that we’ve ever had in 34 years of business.
